2 How can I obtain my prescription?

Vision test is the must process to get prescription. So go to the hospital or optician to get a vision test. The optometrist has to by law provide you with a copy of your prescription without compulsive purchase in this store. In addition, you'd better ask optometrist to measure your papillary distance (PD in short) which is also an important measurement for eyeglasses.

Lenses

1 How do you divide the distance portion and reading portion on bifocal or progressive lenses?

Generally speaking, the ration is about 3 distance portion: 2 reading portion. Of course, you are welcome to make request by writing down a note on the order form or calling us as soon as you place your order. We will try our best to meet your requirement.

2 Do you sell prescription sunglasses?

Yes, and most of our prescription sunglasses come with tinted lenses, photochromic lenses or polarized lenses.

Frames

1 Do you sell frames alone

Yes, you are welcome to buy frames alone.

2 If I have a strong prescription, what do I need to care when I choose the eyeglasses?

It is suggested to choose lenses with high index which results in thinner lenses. Generally speaking, the stronger the prescription is, the thicker the lenses are. The high index lenses are rather thinner than ordinary lenses with the same prescription.

As to frame, you'd better choose full-frame or semi-frame which makes the lenses seem to be thinner. We have bifocal or progressive lenses with SPH: +9.00 to -8.75, Astigmatism: -0.25 to -4.00 and AAD: 0.75 to 3.50. Almost all people who suffer from poor vision can get the right lenses here.

3 What if I do not like the glasses when I receive them?

We provide frames and lenses with fine quality, and we will closely follow your prescription and requirement to make sure that eyeglasses are assembled perfectly and meet your requirement. If by any reasons, you are dissatisfied with our product, you can apply to our return & refund policies:

No quality problem

If you are just unsatisfied with the purchase without any reasons, you can also cancel this purchase within 5 days you receiving the package. You are asked to return all cancelled items at your cost. We will manage full-refund on receiving returned items.

Quality problem

If there is any quality problem with your eyeglasses, please return them as soon as possible. Return in 5-30 days after receipt, you can get a full-refund. Return in 30-90 days after receipt, you can get all money on frame and half of money on lenses.

For all returns, please contact our customer service firstly to get return address and authorization which is necessary for us to arrange returns. And all items should be sent back in their original condition with case and cleaning cloth.

Prescription

1 How to read my prescription?

Different hospitals or medical organizations may provide different forms of prescription. However, the subjects involved in are basically the same, for example, name, gender, age, job, date, and so on, which are easy for people to understand and read.

Some difficult subjects:

OD stands for the right eye, while OS represents the left eye.

"+" symbolizes convex which is used for farsightedness;

"-" stands for concave which is used for shortsightedness. The Arab numbers after "+" or "-" mean the diopter of lenses.

Attention should be paid to the diopter of lenses on the prescription. Here it doesn't have the same meaning of the strength which people mention in the daily life. The diopter and the strength have a gap of 100 times. For instance, -1.00D, it equals to 100 degrees as people often say.

DS stands for the spherical mirror which is used for shortsightedness and farsightedness.

DC stands for the cylindrical mirror which is used for astigmatism.

"()" after DS: the combination of the previous spherical mirror and the later cylindrical mirror

"*" after DC: to separate the previous degree of astigmatism from the later axial degree of astigmatism that includes from 1 to 180 degrees.

For example, -2.00DS ()-1.00DC*60°: the combination of 200-degree myopia and 100-degree astigmatism, and the axial degree is 60.

PD means the distance between two pupils. What's more, the other symbols stand for naked eye sights of both and the corrected eye sights.

2 What is PD and what if there is no pupil distance (PD) on my prescription?

PD, the abbreviation for papillary distance, is the distance between two pupils. It is measured in millimeters. If there is no pupil distance (PD) on prescription, you can call optometrist if it has been measured after the vision test, you can also measure it yourself in a mirror, or ask your friend for help.

3 How strong a prescription can you offer?
